Tim was raised in Yakima and after serving time in the
Marines first earned a BA in Business Administration at CWU
and a BLA from the University of Washington in Landscape
Architecture. He is a member of the American Society of
Landscape Architects (ASLA) and the Association of
Professional Landscape Designers (APLD).
Landscape
Architecture is a design profession which combines art,
science and technology to develop meaningful and thoughtful
change in the built environment. Tim teams with other
environmentally conscious architects and engineering
professionals on larger projects bringing to the team his
commitment to sustainable, low-impact design, and creative
use of space in designing livable environments and
communities.
 On residential
projects he collaborates with partner and landscape designer
wife, Kat. Tim takes the lead in establishing the overall
project design, hardscaping, grading and drainage, and built
features. He ensures that there is a smooth transition
between interior and exterior spaces and that circulation
flows well through the landscape.
Tim is an active
member of the Samish Indian Nation, currently serving as
Council Vice-Chairman. He has been involved in several
Indian land development projects using his training in
landscape architecture to promote sustainable land
development practices.
He is also committed to serving the local community having
served on several community boards. Tim has been a member of
two major park projects, most recently serving on the board
of the Uptown Counterbalance Park.
 Tim
& Kat work closely with clients to ensure
that each project meets the goals of the client and is a
creative, high-quality design. Client satisfaction is
important at Land2c.
They stay current in landscape design and architecture,
horticulture, and the latest in sustainable practices by
regularly attending educational presentations, touring
gardens, reading current literature, and attending a variety
of classes. They both enjoy traveling and studying new
gardens for inspiration whenever possible. Both are active
in the Washington Chapter of the Association of Professional
Landscape Designers.
